46-year-old Ashley Wasielewski suffered severe second- and third-degree burns after an unknown assailant poured a corrosive substance over her head while she was walking in Forsyth Park, Savannah.
The attack occurred around 8:15 p.m. after a church program. The corrosive substance was so potent that it melted her car key fob. Wasielewski sustained burns on over half her body. The FBI is investigating and offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
"Burn alive bitch!": Woman Set on Fire in Unprovoked Assault
26-year-old Bethany MaGee was set on fire aboard a Chicago Blue Line train when 50-year-old Lawrence Reed poured gasoline over her and ignited it while repeatedly yelling "Burn alive bitch!" MaGee sustained critical injuries but managed to escape the train.
Reed, who has a history of 72 prior arrests, was apprehended the following day and charged with committing a terrorist attack against a mass transportation system, a federal offense that carries a potential life sentence. Witnesses reported that Reed continued shouting the phrase as flames engulfed MaGee. The attack has prompted federal authorities to demand immediate safety improvements from the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA).
"I got that white girl!": Ukrainian Refugee Killed on Charlotte Train
23-year-old Iryna Zarutska, a Ukrainian refugee who had fled the Russian invasion, was stabbed to death on a Lynx Blue Line train in Charlotte, North Carolina. Immediately after the attack, Decarlos Brown Jr. repeatedly stated "I got that white girl!"
Zarutska was stabbed from behind three times while seated on the train at the East/West Boulevard station. Brown continued to repeat "I got that white girl!" as he exited the train, making no attempt to hide the racial motivation behind his actions. He was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Zarutska had come to America seeking safety from war, only to be murdered in an unprovoked attack.
About These Incidents
These violent attacks represent a pattern of anti-White hate crimes that often receive minimal media attention compared to crimes targeting other groups. While the FBI's 2024 hate crime statistics show 815 reported anti-White incidents, many more go unreported or are not classified as hate crimes.
The victims in these cases—Bethany MaGee, Ashley Wasielewski, and Irina Zarutska—are individuals who deserve justice and recognition. Their stories highlight the reality that anti-White violence is not a theoretical concern but a present danger that affects real people in communities across America.
